Common questions

How do I use a peptide reconstitution calculator?

Simply tell it the facts. Enter the total peptide amount (mg), the volume of water you plan to add (mL), your desired dose (mcg or mg), and your syringe size. The Calculator does the heavy lifting, giving you the concentration, the exact volume to draw, the syringe units, and your total doses.

How much bacteriostatic water should I add to my vial?

It depends entirely on your desired concentration. Common additions are 1 mL, 2 mL, or 3 mL. Adding more water creates a lower concentration, which makes measuring tiny, microscopic doses much easier on your eyes. (For example, 2 mL in a 5 mg vial creates a pleasant 2.5 mg/mL concentration). Always defer to your Physician.

What is the difference between mcg and mg?

They are both measurements of weight, but on vastly different scales. 1 mg is exactly 1,000 mcg. Because therapeutic peptide amounts are so incredibly small, doses are usually spoken of in mcg. A 250 mcg dose of BPC-157 is merely 0.25 mg.

How many units on an insulin syringe equal 1 mL?

On a standard U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL. A smaller 0.5 mL syringe holds 50 units, and a tiny 0.3 mL syringe holds 30 units. The Calculator knows this and will convert the volume for you automatically.

Can I use this calculator for any peptide?

How should I store these reconstituted peptides?

In the refrigerator. 36 to 46 degrees F. Do not freeze the reconstituted solution. Freezing is for the Unreconstituted Powder, which can slumber in the cold for 1 to 2 years before use.
